This week marks MS Awareness week and what an appropriate time for me to thank everyone for all your good wishes and the warm welcome I have received into the Revive family.
Revive is more than just a centre for support it truly is a family where we can share the ups and downs of where life’s journey takes us. Since starting here at Revive I have loved getting to know some of you and hearing the tales being shared in the chat in the café. It is lovely to hear you all coming together and sharing a laugh with one another.
From walking in the door, you get a sense of calm along with happiness and that is down to everyone who attends Revive. Why not come along and share in the joy by accessing support from the long list of services offered. You could attend a Physio class or relax with some Tai Chi, book in for a massage or reflexology; have some support for speech and language, continence care or welfare and benefits advice. We also offer oxygen therapy, counselling and podiatry and while you’re here don’t forget to try the delights of the café, sharing a coffee with friends. As a nurse I am here to support you. My door is always open for you to discuss your experience with MS and help you in your journey by working along with your MS service.
Whether you are diagnosed with MS, a carer or family member we are here. Our ‘Connect’ service is opening the way for everyone in Scotland to access Revive due to the wonders of modern technology allowing more and more people to share what we do here at Revive.
We are looking forward to reaching our to more people affected by MS than before the pandemic and welcoming everyone to share in the future of Revive.
