Covid Update January 2021

Dear Clients

It’s the start of a New Year and sadly this is not the position that we want to find ourselves in again!

Following updates from the Scottish Government we have made the very difficult decision to keep the centre closed reverting back to how we managed services last July, keeping as many services running as we can remotely.

The new strain of coronavirus is seeing significant community transmission and we feel, at this point, the most important thing we can do to protect our team, clients and our NHS is to ensure that Revive does not offer an opportunity to allow the virus to spread.

Until further notice, the Centre will remain effectively closed, only open to pre-arranged appointments, reverting back to our tiered management of Revive services as implemented last summer.

Some of the services provided will include 1-to-1 physiotherapy, counselling, CBT, Welfare & Benefits, MS Nurse support & advice, these will be by appointment only and will be delivered ‘face to face’ in the Centre or remotely using Zoom and other platforms.

Our Clinical Team will be making assessments and will contact individuals directly so as to arrange appointments. Some of the Zoom groups will continue as normal. Please note that the reception telephone will not be staffed but if you require any kind of emergency support please email our Clinical Manager at

I hope that this will be a short-term measure as the vaccine is rolled out, I will keep you informed with updates, please continue to keep connected via our Facebook pages.

I appreciate the disappointment and concern that will accompany this news, as members of staff we feel it too. Please continue to keep yourselves safe and we look forward to seeing you all soon. There are much better days not far away.

Kind regards,

Iain Morrison
