A key part of Revive MS Support’s work is taking our experienced team on the road to deliever services to people affected by MS in outlying communities. This can be places where access to specialist therapy services is limited or non-existent.
Many people with MS experience isolation in their homes due to their disability and associated personal circumstances. The ability to provide safe, reliable and fully adapted transport is a key facet in helping many housebound people with MS to access the services which are vital in helping to maintain their condition and improve their general quality of life.
Users of these clinics can take advantage of a range of services, including physiotherapy, aromatherapy, reflexology, speech and language therapy, and groups, as well as lively social interaction.
At all of our outreach clinics, we offer a door-to-door transport service for clients who have no other practical means of getting to the venue. As we only have one vehicle, the service is limited. At times, it is not possible to accommodate everyone who requests transport, but we do endeavour to help any way we can.
