Adrenaline Events
Challenge yourself to overcome your fears and have a go at one of our awesome adrenaline events, guaranteed to generate substantial respect, sympathy and much-valued sponsorship from your friends, family and colleagues!
In 2013, we will be offering:
- Zip Slide
- Abseil
- Tandem Skydive
These events are open to individuals and can also be organised to suit companies wishing to run a bespoke event. We will provide all you need to get your fundraising off the ground from sponsorship forms, to hints and tips to help you rope in your supporters.

Zip Slide - Zip for MS across the Clyde 2013
Join Team Revive 2013 by signing up to one of Revive MS Support’s most popular events - our zip slide over the Clyde. Dare to make a difference in this adrenalin-fuelled Zipslide.
No previous experience is necessary. Our team of highly skilled instructors will ensure you are fully equipped to make your zip slide as safe and enjoyable as possible.
You can either register as an intrepid individual or perhaps rope in some of your friends. So if you are in need of some team spirit, get some colleagues at work, friends at your local pub or your family to join you - ONLY A FEW SPACES LEFT!!
Details:
Our first event in 2013 will take place on Saturday 23 March 2013 - start time TBC.
Venue:
Pacific Quay Glasgow, Four Winds Pavilion, Pacific Quay, Glasgow G51 1EB.
The Technical Bit:
- Age: The minimum age by law is 16 (Under 18’s - parental consent is required.)
Deposit & Sponsorship:
We do require that a minimum of £100 (or more) is raised per participant and this is payable 30 days after the event. A £15 deposit will be taken at the time of registration. So total minimum sponsorship is £115. Once you return your completed registration form, we can support you in your fundraising effort with sponsor forms, posters and anything else you may need to get your fundraising off the ground! Falkirk Wheel Abseil 2013
BRAND new for Team Revive 2013! Sign up for our scariest challenge yet on Saturday 14 September! Go that extra length and help us make a difference to people living with MS!
No previous experience is necessary. Like the zipslide above, why not rope in some friends to join you in this daring adventure!

The abseil will take place on Saturday 14 September 2013 - start time TBC.
Venue:
The Falkirk Wheel, Lime Rd, Tamfourhill, Falkirk FK1 4RS
The Technical Bit:
- Age: The minimum age for the abseil 16 (Under 18’s - parental consent is required.)
Deposit & Sponsorship:
We do require that a minimum of £100 (or more) is raised per participant and this is payable 30 days after the event. A £32 deposit will be taken at the time of registration. So total minimum sponsorship is £132. Once you return your completed registration form, we can support you in your fundraising effort with sponsor forms, posters and anything else you may need to get your fundraising off the ground! Tandem Skydive - Dive for Revive 2013
Why not take the plunge (excuse the pun!) and experience something truly amazing and in some cases, life changing.... Enjoy the freedom of the skies and take in the view from a few miles above the earth as you experience the thrill of freefall skydiving, whilst strapped to a fully qualified parachuting instructor, who will control the parachute opening and landing - all you have to do is relax and enjoy the amazing experience!
This year we will be jumping with the fantastic team at Skydive St. Andrews. All we ask you to do is challenge yourself to one of the most extreme experiences you can have, and raise some much-needed funds for Revive MS Support on the way!
Details:
Dates are available throughout 2013, with start times from 8.30am.
Venue:
Skydive St. Andrews, 3C Osprey Road, Glenrothes, Fife KY6 2SZ.
The Technical Bit:
- Weight limitations: For tandem skydives the maximum weight limit is 14 stones
- Age: The minimum age for all skydiving by law is 16 (Under 18’s - parental consent is required.) The maximum age is 55
- For those over 40 a medical form (provided by us) must be signed by a doctor

Deposit & Sponsorship:
We do require that a total of £500 (or more) is raised per participant. A £55 deposit will be taken at the time of booking, £200 is payable on arrival at the jump centre and a minimum of £245 sponsorship must be raised, and this is payable 30 days after the event.
